Every May the Polynesian Cultural Center holds the Annual World Fireknife Competition here in Laie on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. While we have sadly had to cancel this year’s event due to Covid-19 restrictions, we still honor the competitors and organizers throughout the years. As we look forward to resuming the world’s most recognized fireknife event next year – we are proud to introduce this 3-episode series featuring Jeri Galeai and the other 2019 competitors.
